Week 8!

It is week 8!!Two weeks before going back for christmas vacation!!How excited that I already put a count down thing on my laptop and finishing all the work due after christmas so that I can spare more time to enjoy my holidays! Although this is not the first year in UK, I still miss home so much, I am seriously homesick that whenever I talked to my family, my tears just come off straight away:( but I have came up with something which makes me less miss home:),(it sounds silly but it really works for me!) that is always do something. Keeping myself busy like chatting with my flatmates, getting a part time job, cooking, working on courseworks and so on, time passes so quick! I won't have so much time to think how lonely am I, how far away is my family, how tasty is the home made food, how cute is my little brother.......
Anyway, coming to UK is really a precious experience that definitely benefits my future, although there were many different nationalities students in my school in Hong Kong as well, its just so different when you are actually living with them, come to know each other and working together. I remember what the lectuer said yeaterday.. "we international students are paying much more higher fees to subsidise British people to continue their studies in universities". I feel quite uncomfortable after hearing that, and I even questioned myself,...the maths?languages(of course except english)? in UK seems worse than my country, am I really making a right choice to come here and study? In fact, except paying comparatively huge money for all the fees(you will gain it back soon!), it really does benefit your future, your employability and you will become much more independent, well organised and mature.Dont hesitate if anyone of you are stuggling to come over or not!
